Opening: Friday 27 March at 18:00. Exhibition dates: 27 March – 10 May 2026. Venue: Naval Museum and Planetarium, Calata Anselmi, Imperia.
ASTROSEA: Between Zenith and Eclipse is a collective exhibition that examines the boundary between sea and sky as fields of orientation and disorientation. The show inhabits the between—a suspended condition where perception and instruments of knowledge are fragile—turning navigation into both a technical and inner act.
The curatorial concept creates a conversation between the naval museum spaces and the planetarium, inviting visitors to consider movement and measurement together. The project has an international scope, featuring artists from several countries and varied artistic practices.
Curators: Loredana Trestin, assisted by Maria Cristina Bianchi. Concept: Associazione ARconTE. Organiser: Divulgarti.
Practical note: the exhibition is recommended for audiences interested in contemporary art, landscape, navigation and astronomy. For opening times and ticketing information please contact the Naval Museum and Planetarium directly or check the venue's official channels.
What to expect: installations and works that probe the relationship between movement (sea) and measure (sky), sensory paths and pieces that question the tools of knowledge, offering poetic and critical perspectives on the theme.
