Art Nouveau Week 2026: national festival celebrating the Liberty style

When: 8–14 July 2026

Art Nouveau Week 2026 highlights early 20th-century heritage through a dense program of events hosted in museums, collections and historic locations. The initiative, promoted by the national association dedicated to the Liberty style and curated scientifically, offers the public opportunities for discovery and unique visits.

What the festival includes

  • Solo and group exhibitions staged in museums and exhibition spaces.
  • Guided urban itineraries among Liberty-style buildings and neighborhoods.
  • Lectures and meetings with scholars and conservators.
  • Special openings of collections and monuments not usually accessible.
  • Hands-on workshops on design, applied arts and restoration.

Venues and focus for 2026

The 2026 edition features a diffuse exhibition across multiple sites, with important events held in museum contexts and historic places. Key locations include:

  • Museo Nazionale Collezione Salce — Treviso
  • Villa Toletti — event and installation venue
  • Antica Stazione del Treno — Cadegliano (Varese)

The central theme for 2026 is the sea, while World Art Nouveau Day will focus on the role of women. These themes appear across the works on display and guide the exhibition and educational program.

Program and resources

Art Nouveau Week includes over 700 events in more than 300 cities, accompanied by an international catalogue documenting thousands of Art Nouveau buildings worldwide.
