From 24 April to 2 May 2026 the medieval village of Castiglione del Lago, on Lake Trasimeno, hosts the Tulip Festival, a series of events that highlight the historic center and lakeside with floral installations, local crafts and family-friendly entertainment.

• Decorated floats: handcrafted parade floats, in 2026 themed on animated cartoons.
• Processions and parades: daytime street processions and a special evening parade along the lakeshore to close the festival.
• Tulip garden and markets: floral displays and the "Fiori & Passioni" market in Piazza Dante Alighieri featuring local artisans.
• Food and drink: the Taverna all'Uliveto, near Palazzo della Corgna, serves Umbrian specialties throughout the event.
• Activities: show cooking, slow-tourism walks and events organized by the Arena GAL.

• Opening weekend (25-26 April): celebrations in the historic center from 14:30 to 19:00 with street bands and historic processions.
• Tulip Night (2 May): evening parade on the lakeshore from 18:30 to midnight with laser shows, illuminated stilt-walkers and live music.
• Taverna all'Uliveto hours: open every evening for dinner; open at lunch on public holidays and weekends (24 April - 2 May).
• Parade tickets: full €10, reduced €5 (13-17 years), free for children up to 12. Tickets available online and at on-site ticket offices (historic center 25-26 April, lakeshore 2 May).
