Agreement approved to enhance the Museum and Archaeological Park of ancient Medma

The Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria has approved a convention to manage and enhance the Museum and Archaeological Park of ancient Medma, located in the Municipality of Rosarno. The agreement formalises cooperation between the Metropolitan City, the Calabria Museums Directorate of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Rosarno.

The Archaeological Park covers about 13 hectares and includes important Magna Graecia remains, notably the sacred areas of Calderazzo and Sant'Anna. The measure aims to ensure coordinated management to increase public enjoyment and the site's cultural significance.
