Opinions differ regarding the coexistence of the amphitheatre with the school facilities operated by Ceis: the local administration currently does not intend to relocate the school, while parts of the superintendent's office and some political figures consider the school's presence incompatible with full protection of the archaeological site.

During the inspection the superintendent reviewed previous excavation campaigns and the archaeological evidence gathered, underlining the historical value of the site.
