Date and opening: Friday 24 April, 19:30. Venue: La FACTORY, Hypercube Gallery (via Niceforo Foca 30, Taranto).
AMOR FATI is the solo show by Puglian artist Angela Regina. Born in 1982, Regina trained between Bari and Lecce and graduated in Decoration from the Academy of Fine Arts. Her work navigates instant photography and performative practice, focusing on identity, the body and processes of transformation.
The exhibited works, often self-portraits, articulate a visual language balanced between light and shadow, dreamlike atmospheres and material reality, embracing unpredictability as part of the photographic process. The title AMOR FATI — the love of one's fate — frames the exhibition as an inquiry into the relationship between personal experience and representation.
At the vernissage a live episode of the podcast "Stai Parlato" by the Factory collective will be recorded: an informal conversation with the artist open to the public. Local craft beer from Tabir — Taranto brewoteca — will be available.
This exhibition is recommended for those interested in contemporary photographic projects that investigate identity and the body through experimental practices. The event welcomes both the general public and professionals in the arts.
