AMAB remains a meeting point between historical craftsmanship and contemporary artistic research. The 2026 edition emphasizes the relationship between heritage and innovation, marking the Eighth Centenary of the death of Saint Francis.

What to see

• Traditional antiques and curated period pieces;
• Modern and contemporary art with dedicated showcases;
• Design and graphic works;
• Jewellery from artisans and designers;
• Nuvolo (Giorgio Ascani) exhibition, curated by Bruno Corà, with around 15 works including screenprints and pieces from the Genesi and OIGROIG cycles;
• Tita Tegano's theatrical costumes: about 15 stage costumes from the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale di Spoleto collection;
• Works by Lorenzo Fonda, including recent pieces such as "Un Grido per la pace" and "Captcha / Cieche speranze".

• 28 April – Talk by Alessandro Delpriori on "The images of Francis";
• 29 April – Concert dedicated to Rigoletto, organized by the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale di Spoleto;
• 30 April – Discussion "Giotto and Saint Francis: a revolution in 14th-century Umbria" with Costantino d'Orazio and Veruska Picchiarelli;
• 2 May – Bruno Corà presents a focus on Nuvolo;
• 3 May – Closing day and presentation of the Best Exhibition Award.

AMAB OFF and satellite projects

AMAB OFF extends the fair into the territory with immersive installations and exhibitions in historic venues: highlights include the immersive experience "Cum tucte le tue creature" at Auditorium Sant'Angelo, the "Da me a te" exhibition at Palazzo del Capitano del Perdono in Santa Maria degli Angeli, site-specific performances at Rocca Maggiore in Assisi, and shows such as Groowa Circus and the ballet "Creature Divine".
