Free course in Rome for cinema exhibitors launched

The course “Cinema Exhibitors – Managerial Skills and Growth Strategies for the Venue” has started, promoted and funded by the Rome Lazio Film Commission Foundation and organized with Anica Academy ETS. The initiative aims to support the audiovisual industry in Lazio through targeted training for current and prospective cinema operators.

• Duration: 70 hours, hybrid format (online lessons and in-person meetings in Rome).
• Participants: 20 places for young entrepreneurs, aspiring exhibitors, cultural operators and venue managers working in or from Lazio.
• Objectives: develop managerial skills, marketing and audience retention strategies, data-driven programming and sustainable venue management.
• Partners: ANEC, ANEC LAZIO, ACEC, FICE.

Lorenza Lei, CEO of the Rome Lazio Film Commission Foundation, commented that the courses aim to strengthen the supply chain and create qualified job opportunities, especially for young people. Francesco Rutelli, President of Anica Academy, highlighted the strategic role of the audiovisual sector as a driver of employment and cultural growth.

Additionally, a Basic Course in Film and Audiovisual Production Administration is scheduled to start on 23 April, offering operational tools for production management.
