Festival Architettura — 4th Edition

On 11 March 2026 the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture announced the fourth edition of Festival Architettura, a funding programme to support and promote contemporary Italian architecture.

• Total funding: €829,500.00.
• Strategic objectives: quality, internationalisation, regeneration.
• Application deadline: 20 May 2026, 12:00 (Italian time).
• Implementation timelines: projects must take place by 31 July 2027; activities abroad may start after the publication of the ranking and must finish by 15 October 2027.
• How to apply: proposals must be submitted exclusively via the Directorate-General's Portale Bandi, in Italian and with all required documentation.

The call aligns with the Faro Convention, the 2030 Agenda and the New European Bauhaus principles, prioritising sustainability, participation and access to architectural heritage.
