AgriCura: combining agriculture, sustainability and social impact

On Friday, May 8, 2026, the Anna Mattioli Foundation will present AgriCura in Parma, a program designed to integrate sustainable farming practices, environmental education and social inclusion pathways for young people and vulnerable families.

The presentation starts at 11:00 at the Foundation's headquarters, Palazzetto, Piazza Ghiaia 21. Experts and practitioners will explain the project areas and the concrete activities planned locally.

Program highlights

  • EduBioBimbi: educational activities for primary school children focused on environment, biodiversity and sustainable habits.
  • Intelligent Agriculture (IA): discussions and workshops in high schools on responsible farming techniques and agricultural innovation.
  • Social Agriculture: nature-based workshops for vulnerable adolescents aimed at wellbeing, social reintegration and biodiversity protection.

The initiative seeks to foster collaboration between institutions, organizations and local associations to spread a culture of sustainability and provide pedagogical tools that support social inclusion through land stewardship.
