“ONCE UPON A TIME ITALY ’61” exhibition at Palazzo Lascaris

Until 10 June 2026 the Sala Spagnuolo in Palazzo Lascaris (via Alfieri 15, Turin) presents the photographic exhibition “Once Upon a Time Italy 61”, a narrative display of archival footage, photographs, posters and original artifacts that evoke the city’s 1961 moment.

The exhibition marks the 65th anniversary of the events linked to the first Anniversary of Italy’s Unification and revisits Turin’s era of architectural, technological and cultural innovation, including memories of the Alweg monorail. It aims to preserve and share original documents and testimonies to reintroduce this chapter of local heritage into the collective memory and engage younger audiences.
