1000 Miglia and diplomatic network: synergy to promote Made in Italy

1000 Miglia announced a collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAECI) to promote Italian motor heritage and national excellence through Italy's diplomatic network. The initiative will convert the famed race into a cultural platform featuring photographic exhibitions, historic car displays and thematic meetings aimed at cultural operators, companies and enthusiasts.

• Goals: strengthen the international profile of the 1000 Miglia brand, boost cultural tourism and create networking opportunities between businesses and institutions.
• Recent events: exhibition in Miami (IIC); display at the Ambassador’s residence in Australia on April 11; a 1957 Fiat Abarth 750 Zagato shown at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo on April 15.
• Spring schedule announced: May 12 – Permanent Representation of Italy to the UN, Geneva; May 24 – Indianapolis; May 29 – Verkehrshaus der Schweiz, Lucerne; June 2 – Italian Embassy, Madrid.

Looking ahead to the 2027 centenary, organizers stress the cultural value of the race’s history, design and territories, and the potential to support supply chains connected to art, design and tourism.
