Guided Tours of the Tuscania Necropolises

The Tuscania Tourist Office, together with Archeoares, is offering two guided visits for those who want to deepen their knowledge of the area's history and archaeology with professional explanations and on-site routes.

Dates and times

  • Sunday, 26 April 2026, 15:00 – tour of the basilicas and historic center.
  • Friday, 1 May 2026, 10:30 – visit to the necropolises and the Archaeological Museum.

Meeting point and logistics

Meeting point: Tuscania Tourist Office, Piazzale Trieste. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Access to the archaeological area requires a private vehicle.

Tickets and reservations

  • Entry to the Archaeological Museum requires purchasing the ticket at the museum ticket office on the day of the visit.
  • Children under 12 participate free of charge when accompanied by at least one adult.
  • Places are limited: advance booking is recommended via eventi.archeoares.it. Same-day reservations may be possible at the Tourist Office subject to availability.

Wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for unpaved paths. The tours provide a practical opportunity to see funerary remains on site and to understand the ancient territorial organization.
