Vinitaly and the City in Verona: three days for wine culture

From 10 to 12 April 2026 Verona will host Vinitaly and the City, the off-fair event accompanying the main wine exhibition, designed to present wine as cultural and tourist heritage. Activities take place across the historic center and are aimed at both the general public and wine enthusiasts.

This edition increases the focus on wine tourism and introduces new urban experiences: tastings, talks, guided visits and routes involving local wineries and the surrounding province.

• About 70 events including tastings, meetings and guided tours distributed across the city.
• Opening on 10 April with a toast using Pinot Grigio Doc delle Venezie, the official wine of the 2026 edition.
• Special sessions at the Arena di Verona dedicated to wine and territorial experiences.
• Extension into the province via the Valpolicella Wine Road: 15 wineries involved, tastings from 13 April to 3 May.
• Organised by Veronafiere in partnership with the Municipality and Province of Verona and Fondazione Cariverona.

New features include tasting tokens for access to city events and the “Salotto dei vini rari” curated by Paolo Massobrio. The aim is to strengthen links between wine quality and territorial promotion, offering experiences that continue beyond the trade fair.
