Against the backdrop of Venice before the 2026 Art Biennale, Harper’s Bazaar Italia celebrated Issue 29 with a one‑night exhibition at Palazzo Diedo, home to Berggruen Arts & Culture. The exclusive vernissage converted the magazine into a tangible, walk‑through experience.
Artists and curatorial concept
The show presented photographs by Juergen Teller and his creative partner Dovile Drizyte. Creative directors M/M (Paris) imagined the issue as a "paper pavilion," making the portfolio a cohesive visual ecosystem full of evocative references.
Installation and themes
The installation rejected conventional framed displays: images were laid out on a single long table that ran through the first‑floor rooms, inviting guests to walk within the visual narrative. The portfolio offers an intimate, slightly decadent view of Venice—autumnal moods, stark contrasts and a blend of sensuality with everyday details.
