From 20 to 26 April 2026, Triennale Milano takes part in Milan Design Week with a varied program of exhibitions, site-specific installations and permanent collection displays. Events are spread across indoor spaces, the Sala Sottsass and the garden, with both free and ticketed entries.
Notable retrospectives include a show dedicated to Edward Barber | Jay Osgerby. The Italian Design Museum displays over 400 pieces from its permanent collection (ticketed entry; free access for students in line with museum policies). Additional exhibitions focus on Andrea Branzi, Lella and Massimo Vignelli and a free presentation on Don Bronstein.
The Giardino Giancarlo De Carlo provides a resting space between exhibitions and houses the Cucina Triennale café-restaurant. On the Piano parco the exhibition "In the space of a century. Rai Pubblicità: 100 years of history and beyond" charts the evolution of Italian visual communication through archival objects and materials.
Triennale Milano's program for Design Week 2026 offers both historical perspectives and practical insights into contemporary design through educational installations, consultable archives and spaces for public exchange.
