Trees: photographic exhibition by Isacco Emiliani

Trees features forty nocturnal photographs by Isacco Emiliani portraying the monumental trees of Bassa Romagna. Produced over seven years of evening outings, the series examines the presence, strength and fragility of trees through an intimate, night-time perspective.

Opening and scheduled events

• 19 May, 18:00 — vernissage with a conversation between photographer Isacco Emiliani and researcher Valido Capodarca; followed at 20:30 by the talk "The 5,000-Year Olive" with Marina Barham.
• 22 May, 18:00 — preview of the Lugo Music Festival and presentation of the 2026 programme.
• 26 May, 20:00–23:00 — "Night Vision" workshop led by Isacco Emiliani (limited places, reservation required).
• 28 May — children's workshop "The Man with the Green Coat" with illustrator Irene Penazzi (16:30 and 18:00); at 21:00 the book presentation "The Buddhist Sparrow" with Tiziano Fratus and Rosella Ghedini.
• 31 May — 11:00 chamber quartet concert "Maple, Fir, Ebony"; 16:00 guided photo walk "Along the Canale dei Molini" with Elena Ghini.

Young audiences and schools

Alongside the main exhibition, the Children's Section of Biblioteca Trisi hosts "Magic Trees", showcasing students' work from an educational project about trees and landscape. This youth exhibition runs from 18 May to 18 June 2026 and includes guided visits and workshops for schools.
