Trani — Exhibition "UMANI. Every Part Counts. Gold Unites and Celebrates"

Artist: Yesenia Suárez — Dates: from 12 to 19 April 2026

This solo show by Yesenia Suárez explores the human being as a composition of diverse and complementary parts. The artist presents fifteen hand-made works created without preparatory sketches, where a golden line functions not to hide flaws but to join and celebrate them, evoking the kintsugi philosophy and conveying messages of welcome and renewal.

The chosen venue, the Chalet in Trani's Villa Comunale, offers an intimate setting that encourages contemplative encounters between the public and the artworks. The site-specific atmosphere allows the pieces to resonate with the surrounding landscape and emphasizes their asymmetric forms and pauses.

Artistically, the exhibition traces a personal and professional transformation: after eighteen years in mechanical engineering, the artist shifted to an art practice rooted in bodily and emotional listening, privileging spontaneous gestures. The works speak of roots, fragility and rebirth, where the golden line honors what exists rather than fixing it.

A distinctive feature of the show is a collective, participatory artwork open to visitors: under the artist's guidance, attendees can leave a mark and become part of the exhibition, reinforcing its inclusive theme.
