Tornanza Festival – Lucania Edition: two days for rethinking village futures

The Tornanza Festival – Lucania Edition brings a national gathering to Tursi focused on regenerating small towns and exploring new ways of living, working and connecting in inland areas. The event is promoted by the Tornanza Project together with Tursi Digital Nomads and carries the patronage of the Municipality of Tursi.

Born from a wider cultural trajectory, the festival provides a practical forum for exchanging ideas, projects and best practices aimed at repositioning historic centers as hubs of innovation and quality of life.

• Day 1: talks, panels and keynotes with experts from business, culture and innovation to examine territorial opportunities and challenges;
• Day 2: on-the-ground experiences, workshops, community meetings and presentations of concrete projects emerging from the Tornanza ecosystem;
• Open format fostering dialogue between returnees, remaining residents and newcomers contributing to local development;
• Tursi serves as an active laboratory thanks to the engagement of local digital nomad initiatives.

Tursi exemplifies how return, arrival and permanence can co-exist to create shared value: recent initiatives have involved over 500 participants linked to community and remote work projects, generating economic and social opportunities.

The festival is aimed at professionals, cultural operators, local administrators and residents interested in sustainable regeneration and community-led development. It is also an opportunity to build networks, showcase proposals and strengthen positive narratives about the territory.
