Tipicità: Grand Tour of the Marche 2026 — 19 stops and the strength of municipal networks

The Grand Tour of the Marche opened on May 16 in Ancona, presenting a 19-stop program that connects events across the region. Promoted by Tipicità with Anci Marche, the initiative highlights food and wine, landscape, craftsmanship and initiatives linked to the blue economy.

Key points:

• Mascot and launch: the traveling woodpecker Martino, created by artist Simona Pagano, guides visitors through the Tour's stops.
• Calendar and food focus: scheduled highlights include Percorso Divino in Castignano (July 3–4), La trota e il verdicchio in Sefro (July 11–12), Il grappolo d'oro in Potenza Picena (Sept 18–27), Appassimenti aperti in Serrapetrona (Nov 8 and 15). Other stops celebrate local specialties such as olive ascolane, ciauscolo, mushrooms, legumes and the pink apple of the Sibillini.
• New features: a Grand Tour in Bike (six cycling stages), Forest Bathing experiences and two digital indicators — the Accessibility Meter and the Sustainability Meter — to assess event accessibility and sustainability.

The program aims to offer a modern, immersive perspective on Marche's local excellence, combining tradition and innovation while relying on municipal networks as a strategic tool for territorial promotion. The series will conclude on January 6 in Camerino with the Torrone Festival.
