In Crossing Time, Tina Cosmai presents two photographic series that investigate how time and space function as interior dimensions. Using an intimate, conceptual visual language, Cosmai composes images in which traces of the past intersect with a suspended present, turning time into a tangible material.
The first series, Across Time, explores memory as a layering of signs: overlays, residual marks and natural details that form surfaces where the past remains perceptible as a living presence. The second, Isla, moves into suspended landscapes: the island serves as a metaphor for interiority and contemporary solitude, offering scenes of silence and fragmented belonging.
These two bodies of work converse around themes of permanence and isolation, proposing a visual reflection on how time shapes self-perception and spatial experience. The photographs favor muted atmospheres and material stratifications that invite slow, attentive viewing.
Practical notes: Check the gallery's opening hours before visiting. The vernissage is scheduled for the evening of 8 April at 18:30; the exhibition runs through 19 April 2026.
To better understand Cosmai's approach, consider how formal choices in each series guide attention toward memory, silence and the geography of the interior.
