The Wanderer: the whisky bar that changed the face of Rieti’s nightlife

In the heart of Rieti, between retro atmospheres and futuristic visions, there is a place capable of making you travel with a single sip: it’s called The Wanderer, and it is much more than just a whisky bar.

Born in 2018 as an extension of the visionary Depero Club – Dirty Jacket Italian Bar, The Wanderer carries with it the same creative energy and taste for total art that inspired Fortunato Depero. The idea came from Antonio Tittoni, who had already opened the Depero in 2012, drawing inspiration from the principles of Futurism, soon joined by Chiara D’Orazio, an experienced restaurateur and today his life and business partner.

Over time, the two have created a unique nocturnal microcosm: alongside Depero and The Wanderer, the project now also includes the tiki bar Tukana and Freezco, a company specializing in the production of premium ice — proof of their meticulous pursuit of detail and multisensory experiences.

The Wanderer is the ideal refuge for free spirits and lovers of fine drinking: with its vast selection of whiskies from all over the world, it also offers rare spirits, refined blends, and signature drinks for urban explorers. Not to be missed is the “Wanderlust”, a cocktail that embodies the philosophy of the venue: bold, elegant, with smoky and citrus notes that surprise with every sip.
