Spring of Art in Arona: group exhibition at the Town Art Gallery

Arona welcomes Spring of Art, a collective exhibition presenting diverse approaches to contemporary Italian painting. The show takes place at the Town Art Gallery, Piazza del Popolo 33, from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 March 2026.

Curated by the Laboratorio Artistico e Culturale La Fenice, the exhibition gathers eight artists from across Italy. The selection spans figurative and abstract practices and aims to create a direct exchange between the inner world of the artist and the visitor.

  • Rita Della Giovanna – works focused on movement and ballerina figures.
  • Marina Berra – expressionist tones and strong emotional presence.
  • Sabrina Ceruti – symbolic abstraction and evocative signs.
  • Emanuela Liccardi – paintings with intense emotional charge.
  • Renzo Biolchi & Chiara Tralli – a two-handed collaboration exploring intimate pictorial language.
  • Francesco Cagnato – personal readings of reality.
  • Roberta Contiero – a contribution from the Veneto region.
  • Salvo Distefano – a contemporary take on femininity from Sicily.

Opening: Thursday 26 March 2026 at 15:30.

  • Thursday and Friday: 15:30 – 18:30
  • Saturday and Sunday: 10:30 – 12:30 and 15:30 – 18:30

Admission: free.

Location: Town Art Gallery, Piazza del Popolo 33, Arona. The program is suited to visitors interested in direct encounters with contemporary painting and the regional nuances of Italian artistic practice.
