The Fondazione Musei Senesi has launched the FMS Academy, a training path for recent graduates under 30 that blends theoretical lessons with hands-on internships at museums in the local network. The initiative aims to strengthen practical skills in heritage management, cultural communication and public engagement.
The initial phase includes about one month of lectures and workshops led by sector professionals. Key topics cover:
Internships start with a six-month term, with a possible extension for another six months. The initiative is funded by the regional FSE+ Toscana 2021–2027 programme as part of the Giovanisì initiative and involves local authorities and partners.
