The Selinunte Archaeological Park, located in Marinella di Castelvetrano (TP), opens free to visitors across two consecutive weekends: April 25-26 and May 2-3, 2026. The program features archaeologist-led tours, bike routes, themed walks and the inaugural SELÌBRIA book fair for World Book Day.

Program overview

• April 25, 2026: stands by Sicilian publishers; bike routes through the park; presentation of Stefano Bombardieri's sculptures; CoopCulture guided tours: "Selinunte highlights" at 10:30 (Eastern Hill, Baglio Florio and Acropolis with eco-shuttles) and a temple walk at 11:30 with access to the antiquarium.
• April 26, 2026: archaeologist-led visits on the Eastern Hill at 10:30 and 11:45 focusing on quarries, construction techniques and the placement of stone blocks.
• May 2, 2026: special visit to the fortified walls of the Acropolis at 10:30, including passages and accessible tunnels.
• May 3, 2026: "Selinunte highlights" tour at 10:30 and a visit to the Acropolis fortifications at 11:30, with access to secret passages and defensive slits.
