On the occasion of the National Made in Italy Day (April 15), the Association of Italian Ski Instructors (Amsi) emphasized the strategic role of the Italian Ski School in promoting winter tourism and supporting the development of Alpine and Apennine areas.
Amsi describes the School as an excellence model combining professional training, a culture of safety and hospitality skills — a legacy built over more than sixty years.
Amsi president Luciano Stampa stressed that “it is not only a tradition, but an organizational and professional model built on quality training, safety and the ability to relate to clients,” underlining instructors' concrete contribution to the competitiveness of Italian tourism.
Beyond technical teaching, the Italian Ski School stands out for its focus on inclusivity — making skiing accessible to children, beginners, advanced users and people with disabilities — and for promoting knowledge of the territory, increasingly valued within the winter tourism offer.
