Macfrut 2026: global crossroads for the fruit and vegetable sector

The 43rd edition of Macfrut is held at the Rimini Expo Centre from 21 to 23 April 2026. The international fair confirms its role as a hub for business and knowledge exchange in the fruit and vegetable supply chain.

• More than 800 confirmed top buyers, with double-digit growth in buyer participation (+20%).
• Representatives from five continents and sizeable delegations from key export markets, including the Dominican Republic, Brazil and China.
• About a hundred events on the programme: a summit on stone-fruit production, post-harvest workshops and the International Conference on Herbs and Spices (ICHS-2026).
• Institutional interventions and cooperation initiatives involving national and international representatives to promote agricultural resilience and trade agreements.

Organisers note that 2025 set a record for Italian fruit and vegetable exports (€6.7 billion, +11% on the previous year), and Macfrut aims to support this momentum by facilitating B2B meetings, targeted scouting and international agreements.

The fair also serves as a showcase for technological innovation and sustainability across the supply chain, with dedicated areas for post-harvest solutions, logistics and emerging markets.
