The Municipality of Monopoli, through the Tourism Office and the local Info-Point, presents a Spring Edition designed to promote the historic town and its surrounding hamlets. From late March to June, 23 free activities will be held, combining cultural insight, landscape appreciation and creative practice—an inclusive program for both residents and visitors who want to explore the area sustainably.

Main activities

• Community Walks: guided routes through the historic centre that blend local stories, historical insights and on-site commentary. Small groups encourage interaction with guides and active participation.
• Monopoli beyond the surface: guided visits to the town's crypts paired with historical and spiritual interpretation. Selected sessions include a virtual reality immersion to access places usually closed to the public.
• Monopoli and its hamlets: electric-van tours across the countryside, stopping at rural chapels, farmsteads and olive landscapes to highlight lesser-known heritage and local traditions.
• Urban Shots: photographic walks for enthusiasts aiming to capture new perspectives and details of the town’s architecture and everyday scenes.

Practical information

Participation is free but requires mandatory reservation. Activities run with limited group sizes to ensure quality and safety: some tours accept up to 20 participants, while immersive experiences and van tours are limited to small groups (around 7 people).
