Start in Saluzzo: two group exhibitions in dialogue

From 9 May 2026 Saluzzo launches the contemporary art chapter of Start, presenting two parallel exhibitions that offer different but complementary perspectives: one focused on environment, technology and future visions, the other born from a national call on the theme of "reconnecting."

The exhibitions and venues

• Tracing the path. Art, environment and visions of the future — Castiglia (contemporary wing). Curated by Galleria CRAG (Turin) in collaboration with the Trigenia Award; the display brings together painting, installations, photography, sculpture and video to address ecological crises, technological innovation and relations with artificial intelligence.
• 31st Contemporary Art Exhibition — powered by Paratissima — Il Quartiere (Piazza Montebello 1). A collective born from a national call on the theme "Reconnecting", exploring relationships, inner landscapes and memory.

Artists and public program

The Castiglia show features 26 artists, including Daniele Accossato, Botto&Bruno, Chen Li, Mattia Novello and Maurizio Sapia. The Il Quartiere collective brings together about 35 authors, such as Simona Bartalucci, Matteo Branconi, Giorgia Guaglianone, Marco Simonetta and Yiwen Zheng. Both projects are accompanied by talks, performances and a dedicated publication.

Visitor tips

These two exhibitions provide complementary routes: the Castiglia show encourages sustained reflection on energy and transformation, while Il Quartiere gathers multiple perspectives on reconnection. Both are located in the historic centre and are easily walkable.
