Saluzzo: two group exhibitions in dialogue for Start
From 9 May 2026 Saluzzo launches its contemporary art program within Start, hosting two exhibitions that enter into dialogue: one focused on art, environment and technology, the other born from a national call around the theme of reconnection.
The shows and venues
- Tracciando il sentiero. Art, environment and visions of the future — Castiglia (contemporary wing). Curated by Galleria CRAG (Turin) with the Trigenia Award, the exhibition addresses ecological crises, technological innovation and relationships with artificial intelligence through painting, installation, photography, sculpture and video.
- 31st Contemporary Art Exhibition — powered by Paratissima — Il Quartiere (Piazza Montebello 1). A group show from a national call exploring the theme "Reconnecting," focusing on relationships, inner landscapes and collective memory.
Artists and public program
The Castiglia show features 26 artists, including Daniele Accossato, Botto&Bruno, Chen Li, Mattia Novello and Maurizio Sapia. The Paratissima collective brings together about 35 authors, among them Simona Bartalucci, Matteo Branconi, Giorgia Guaglianone, Marco Simonetta and Yiwen Zheng. Both exhibitions are paired with a public program of talks, performances and a publication documenting the project.

Visitor note
The two exhibitions provide complementary experiences: Castiglia encourages an extended reflection on energy and transformation, while Il Quartiere offers a mosaic of voices on reconnection with oneself and others. Both venues are located in Saluzzo's historic centre (Piazza Montebello) and are recommended for those interested in contemporary art trends in Piedmont.
