Caorle Sea Festival 2026: street art meets sea and tradition

From 23 May to 7 June 2026 Caorle hosts the third edition of the Sea Festival, a town-wide urban art route designed to highlight maritime heritage, fishing traditions and local identity. Large-scale murals and site-specific works transform the historic centre into a contemporary open-air gallery.

What to expect

The 2026 programme includes over 18 new mural projects installed on public and private surfaces, bringing the festival’s total collection to more than forty pieces. The works explore the relationship between the community and the sea, celebrating local crafts and fostering urban regeneration through culture.

Programme highlights and side events

  • Mural installations spread across the historic town.
  • Themed talks and sessions on street art and marine conservation.
  • Music events and community activities linked to the sea.
  • Recommended walking routes to explore artworks and the village.

Featured artists (selection)

  • Alessio-B (Italy)
  • Anna Conda (France)
  • Any (Italy)
  • Bagdad (France)
  • C0110 (Italy)
  • Daco (France)
  • David Karsenty (France)
  • Giulio Masieri (Italy)
  • JDL (Netherlands)
  • Additional national and international names scheduled

Practical info for visitors

Location: Caorle (VE) — historic centre. Dates: 2026-05-23 to 2026-06-07.

Works are scattered across the town: check the festival map and official schedule for guided routes and event times. Wear comfortable shoes to walk the narrow streets and allow time to visit both the murals and the waterfront: the festival is designed to enhance the experience of the borgo.

Why go

The Caorle Sea Festival offers a chance to rediscover the historic town through contemporary art that engages local traditions and the sea. It strengthens cultural tourism in the borgo and provides new reasons to explore Caorle beyond the usual seaside visit.
