The second meeting of the "Cronache romane" series, curated by Italianist Stella Fanelli, will delve into Rome's role during the period between Pius VII and Pius IX—crucial years for the emerging Italian nation.

With historian Anna Maria Isastia, author Roberto Mattera and curator Stella Fanelli, the event will reconstruct the political and cultural dynamics of those years, highlighting Rome's centrality and the figures—such as Mazzini and Garibaldi—who sought to make Rome the capital of a united Italy.
