Rolli Days returns in spring with extraordinary openings of the city's main historic palaces and monument sites. The 2026 edition runs from 27 to 29 March, marking the 20th anniversary of the Strade Nuove and the Palazzi dei Rolli system on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The programme explores architecture, art history and daily life from the 16th to the 18th centuries.
The event's interactive map lets visitors locate participating sites; clicking on a marker reveals opening days, hours and access details. Booking in advance through the Rolli Days official channels is recommended.
Guided tours are offered in several languages, with thematic routes and dedicated visits for vulnerable visitors. Sample scheduled sessions include:
On the evenings of Friday 27 and Saturday 28 March, from sunset until midnight, selected palaces overlooking piazza della Meridiana, via Garibaldi and piazza Fontane Marose will switch on interior lighting to reveal noble floors, frescoes and internal views—an evocative way to experience the monuments.
Practical tips: plan your route with the interactive map, reserve popular visits in advance, wear comfortable shoes and allow extra time for access at sites with limited capacity.
