Rocca San Giovanni joins the Abruzzo-Molise Board of 'The Most Beautiful Villages of Italy'

Rocca San Giovanni strengthens its role within regional networks: Mayor Fabio Caravaggio has been elected to the interregional board coordinating certified villages in Abruzzo and Molise, while Deputy Mayor Erminio Verì has been appointed to the Legislative Committee to develop regulatory proposals and guidelines for the protection and management of historic centres.

Event planning and organisational activities linked to the club's events in Rocca San Giovanni will be overseen by Carmelita Caravaggio, Councillor for Culture. This institutional representation expands local tools to promote local products, historical assets and tourist routes.

  • Immediate goals: promotion of villages, protection of historical, cultural and natural heritage, and development of shared projects between local authorities.
  • Impact for residents and businesses: increased institutional cooperation, opportunities to showcase local excellence, and access to promotion and support initiatives.
  • Regulatory outlook: the Legislative Committee will work on proposals to improve urban quality, tourist hospitality and village management.

This appointment is a strategic step for territorial enhancement: direct involvement in interregional decisions will encourage joint projects and coordinated promotion of local resources. For visitors, expect more targeted events, cultural routes and initiatives that highlight architectural heritage and typical local productions.
