Stanza 251 presents Radical Chimeras, a solo exhibition by Rob Mazurek that brings together visual art and sonic experience through paintings, sculptures, installations and video works conceived as hybrid objects with a strong acoustic dimension.

Renowned as a musician and composer—working with trumpet, cornet and electronics—Mazurek has long pursued an active visual arts practice. For this show he created site-specific pieces directly in the gallery space, adapting color, form and resonance to the architectural features of Stanza 251.
