Riccarda Montenero. Vertige_Le Trou noir

Vertige_Le Trou noir is a solo exhibition by Riccarda Montenero at MAIIIM Lab in Genoa. The installation transforms the gallery into a reflective space that examines social and political wounds of our time through photography, sculpture and 3D digital art.

Montenero reinterprets the "black hole" as a political and spiritual metaphor: a force that swallows light and consciousness. The works address violence against women and children, the refugee crisis and homelessness, using art as a tool for awareness and potential change.

About the artist

Riccarda Montenero trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Lecce and studied Architecture in Turin. She works across photography, sculpture and digital 3D art, exhibiting in Italy and abroad and collaborating on editorial and interdisciplinary performances. She lives and works between Paris and Turin.
