"Primavera della Bellezza": third edition opens in Reggio Calabria

The city came alive on April 11 with the opening of the third edition of "Primavera della Bellezza", a city-wide arts festival staged across landmarks such as Castello Aragonese, the National Archaeological Museum and public squares. Promoted by AIParC national, the program includes exhibitions, musical performances, hands-on workshops and itinerant installations, many with free admission.

  • Opening: April 11, 2026 at Castello Aragonese.
  • Featured concert: "The Four Seasons" — soloists of the Catania Philharmonic with a narrated voice, in Piazza Italia at 17:30 (April 12, 2026).
  • Main exhibitions: "Equinozio" (Francesco Logoteta), "Voices Without Faces" (Paolo Infortuna), "Like a Breath" (Francesco Nucara), "Kéramos" (Calabrian master ceramists).
  • Hands-on workshop: coin minting demonstration and participation with Master Domenico Colella, including the symbolic first strike.
  • Tradition and soundscapes: performances of bagpipes and traditional music complement the visual arts program.

The exhibitions at Castello Aragonese run until April 24, 2026. The festival aims to turn the city into an active stage—engaging institutions, associations and young people through training and co-creation.

Practical tips: check individual schedules and venues before attending; many events are free and spread across multiple city locations.
