Royal Palace of Caserta: 'Archetypes' by Antonio Biasiucci
Opening ceremony: 30 May 2026. Public display: from 31 May to 30 November 2026.
The Royal Palace of Caserta presents "Archetypes", an exhibition by Antonio Biasiucci curated by Tiziana Maffei, organized by Valeria Di Fratta and Paola Servillo. Produced by the Museo Reggia di Caserta in collaboration with Gallerie d'Italia - Intesa Sanpaolo and Opera Laboratori, the show features approximately 300 photographs and installations that transform everyday elements into universal symbols.
Biasiucci's poetic imagery focuses on recurring motifs of the Campania region — bread, mozzarella, animal bodies, volcanoes, rites and faith — using formal reduction to reveal the intrinsic substance and memory of objects. The exhibition aims to assemble an "alphabet of humanity" composed of transcultural, timeless signs.
