Giro d'Italia 2026: Palazzo Arese Borromeo hosts the Quartier Tappa

The Giro d'Italia returns to Cesano Maderno: Palazzo Arese Borromeo has been confirmed as the Quartier Tappa location for the 2026 edition. The appointment is set for 25 May 2026, when the 17th-century residence will serve as the race's operational and media hub.

The palace's frescoed halls will once again accommodate journalists, technical staff and organisers, playing a key role in the phase leading up to the final week of the race. This choice underlines the monument's strategic importance for promoting the local cultural heritage at an international level.

Alongside the Quartier Tappa, Piazza Esedra will host collateral activities and promotional spaces, supported by RCS with a special organisational track.

  • When: 25 May 2026
  • Where: Palazzo Arese Borromeo, Cesano Maderno (activities also in Piazza Esedra)
  • What to expect: race press and operations centre, information areas and side initiatives in the town
