Royal Palace of Caserta: "Archetypes" by Antonio Biasiucci

The Royal Palace of Caserta presents "Archetypes", an exhibition project by Antonio Biasiucci curated by Tiziana Maffei. The installation translates everyday elements into a symbolic language and creates a dialogue between contemporary art and the palace's historic architecture.

The exhibition unfolds across several spaces inside the palace, with works conceived to enhance emblematic areas such as the Palatine Chapel and the Grand Gallery, and includes sections dedicated to the Royal Site of San Leucio.

  • Works: approximately 300 photographs, polyptychs and site-specific installations.
  • Exhibition spaces: Palatine Chapel, Grand Gallery and areas related to the Royal Site of San Leucio.
  • Key installations: immersive environments such as "Corpo latteo" and the work "Molti", addressing contemporary issues like migration.
  • Curatorship: Tiziana Maffei. Organization: Valeria Di Fratta, Paola Servillo.
  • Partners and sponsors: Gallerie d'Italia - Intesa Sanpaolo, Opera Laboratori, Fondazione Orizzonti, Totem Digitali srl.

A dedicated section recalls the industrial memory and silkworking tradition of San Leucio, highlighted on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the San Leucio Colony.
