Rapolano Terme: three days of gravel and nature

When: May 8–10, 2026. Where: Parco dell'Acqua, Rapolano Terme (SI), Italy.

The UISP National Gravel Championship brings together cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts in Rapolano Terme. The program combines gravel rides on white roads, live music and activities suitable also for non-riders.

Key program

• Friday, May 8: registration opens, exhibitor stands, street food and live music at the park village.
• Saturday, May 9: main day with departures from Parco dell'Acqua; refreshment points and exhibition areas. Evening Gravel Party with live music and DJs.
• Sunday, May 10: Gravel Gruppo Vacanze, a relaxed group ride suitable for all levels.

Routes

On Saturday four routes will start, designed for different endurance and exploration preferences:

• Super long – 200 km
• Long – 155 km
• Medium – 89 km
• Short – 41 km

Tracks wind through the Crete Senesi and Chianti landscapes, on the mixed terrain typical of central Tuscany. The event keeps the non-competitive soul of gravel: no official rankings or timing chips, focusing on endurance, territory discovery and sharing.

Additional activities and trekking

• Saturday at 08:30 a free trekking of about 7 km is scheduled among woods, ancient churches and century-old olive groves.
• Food and exhibition areas open throughout the weekend.

Registrations are available on the Endu platform and on the event's official website. Early registration is recommended; check participation requirements and suggested safety gear.

• Bring a repair kit, sufficient water and spare parts for your bike.
• For the trek, wear suitable footwear and layered clothing.
