"Andar per Borghi e Castelli" Rally by CAEM/Lodovico Scarfiotti

The CAEM/Scarfiotti club organizes the third edition of the "Andar per Borghi e Castelli" rally, a cultural-tourist event for vintage cars held as part of the club's 50th anniversary celebrations. The event takes place on Sunday, 24 May 2026 with a meeting point in Montecassiano.

Meeting and departure

• Gathering at the club headquarters in Montecassiano: from 8:30 to 9:30 (breakfast provided by the staff).
• Departure of the vintage cars: 9:30 AM.

Route and main stops

• Montecassiano → San Severino Marche → Matelica.
• Main stop: Esanatoglia, a small inland borgo in the Macerata area, listed among "The Most Beautiful Villages of Italy". Its medieval town center includes the Pieve of Saints Anatolia and Marcus, the Town Hall, the Palazzo del Pretorio and the Church of Santa Maria.
• From 11:00 AM there will be a guided tour of the village led by the Mayor and the President of the Pro Loco association.
• Later the route continues to the hamlet of Palazzo to visit the Malcavalca Castle, named after the family that ruled the town until the early 13th century.

Food and social inclusion

Lunch is scheduled at about 12:30 at Ristorante Vanilà (Palazzo), offering traditional local cuisine and running a social initiative that involves young people with mild intellectual and motor disabilities.
