Associazione Genesi's 2026 exhibition schedule
For 2026 Associazione Genesi presents a program combining solo exhibitions, site-specific commissions and educational initiatives for audiences of all ages. The calendar links Italian presentations with international projects, focusing on memory, human rights and cultural exchange.
Special projects and international events
- Mémoires de Femmes – exhibition at UNESCO in Paris: 24–31 March 2026. The project highlights female memory through works from the association's collection and partner collections.

- Do U Dare! – Shirin Neshat (Palazzo Marin, Venice): 9 May – 6 September 2026. A solo show presenting a new film trilogy exploring identity and media imagery.
- Abetare (Two and a Half Hearts) – Petrit Halilaj (Cigognola): inauguration and permanent installation on 6 June 2026. A monumental sculpture transforming children's drawings into metal forms that speak of memory and reconstruction.
- Progetto Genesi – 4th edition (Castelbasso, Teramo): 25 July – 31 August 2026. Thirty key works from the collection, new acquisitions and a volume dedicated to the collection.
- Adji Dieye, Libera come un piccione di Cattelan (in collaboration with Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo): 11 September – 10 October 2026. Sculptural works and a video-installation that probe visibility and cultural mediation processes.
- Innesti. Notes for an African Orestes (Complesso di San Domenico, Naples): presented as a winter exhibition focusing on cultural ties between Italy and Africa, featuring established and emerging artists of African origin from the Genesi collection.
