An artistic installation that repurposes materials recovered from the urban environment: curated by Alessio D’Angeli, the work displays polionda panels previously taken down as illegal signs. The piece was inaugurated on 10 April 2026 at La Vaccheria in the EUR district of Rome.
The project originates from the "Staccali Tutti" challenge, promoted by volunteers focused on city care. Its goal is to turn an issue of environmental neglect and urban blight into a collective artistic statement, while highlighting the links between those signs and illegal waste disposal practices.
The installation offers a critical take on urban aesthetics and waste-management practices, merging activism with artistic practice. It exemplifies how community-led interventions can give rise to works that tell local stories and encourage sustainable behaviors.
No regular opening hours have been provided. Interested visitors should look for updates via the channels of the local organizations involved. The installation is presented as a concrete outcome of cooperation between civic groups, institutions and businesses.
