Spring in Sardinian villages: schedule and highlights

From 25 April to 28 June 2026, villages across Sardinia host a widespread program dedicated to local traditions, craftsmanship and food products. Fourteen centres in Baronia, Ogliastra and Planargia take part, offering weekend events that showcase the island's culture and natural landscapes.

Why attend and what to expect

  • Craft workshops: live demonstrations of weaving, ceramics and woodwork by local artisans.
  • Tastings: wine, cheese and regional specialties featured in food-focused routes.
  • Cultural events: live music, folk performances and exhibitions in squares and historic centres.
  • Outdoor activities: hikes, coastal excursions, yoga sessions and horseback outings to explore seaside and inland scenery.

Practical tips for visitors

  • Plan travel between stops: many events are scheduled on consecutive weekends—consider driving or local transport options to make the most of your visit.
  • Bring practical clothing for walks and possible coastal winds (light hiking shoes, windproof jacket).
  • Book tastings and workshops in advance when possible, as places may be limited.
  • Check updated schedules: each village offers different activities, so review the latest program before leaving.

This spring program is a chance to discover an authentic Sardinia, away from mass tourism, highlighting the identity of small communities and local craftsmanship.
