21 Art Treviso presents a large site-specific installation by Mario Ceroli, on view from 16 April to 31 July 2026. Curated by Cesare Biasini Selvaggi, the exhibition stages a single immersive environment exploring memory, aspiration and contemporary crisis.

What to expect

The installation welcomes visitors with an expanse of golden stones forming a "floor of light": a tangible surface that metaphors human ambition. Deep lapis-blue wooden inserts introduce a contemplative, painterly layer, while oxidized metal nets violently break the scene, evoking war and destruction in contemporary imagery.

Through this tension between aspiration and failure, Ceroli reframes material remains into visionary forms, continuing a long-standing visual practice that probes history and presence.
