Primavera della Bellezza 2026 at Castello Aragonese: five exhibitions

From 11 to 24 April 2026 Castello Aragonese in Reggio Calabria becomes a dispersed exhibition route featuring five connected projects. The program contrasts traditional craft, collective memory and contemporary practices in installations designed for a slow, immersive visit.

The exhibitions

  • Coin-minting workshop — Domenico Colella: an experiential workshop on the ancient craft of minting. Visitors can watch the process and, when sessions are available, take part to keep a minted reproduction.
  • "Equinox" — Francesco Logoteta: a solo show of paintings and sculptures in three phases that moves from material recovery to the celebration of spring colour, with works connected to the local territory.
  • "Voices without a face" — Paolo Infortuna: sculptural installations in the South Tower addressing themes of war and the perception of the other, intended to provoke emotional engagement and reflection.
  • "Like a breath" — Francesco Nucara: a photographic exhibition in four sections (nature, body, poetry, urban) inviting contemplation and the recovery of visual slowness.
  • "Kéramos" — curated by Vincenzo Ferraro: a contemporary ceramics show featuring works by Ferraro, Gabriele Spanò, the Condò and Ierinò brothers, Tiziano De Luca and Antonio Loris Ferraro, blending local traditions and technical innovation.
