Pegognaga starts a training initiative to promote the archaeological materials recovered during excavations related to the new parish church. Organized by the local parish with support from cultural partners, the course aims to prepare volunteers to guide visitors and groups through the town's archaeological and historical heritage.
The recovered objects, votive offerings and other belongings will be housed in a renovated building named Castello11, destined to become a small exhibition venue. To ensure clear and informed public visits, the training consists of three sessions addressing both theoretical and practical aspects of the local historical, archaeological and religious context.
Practical information
The course will cover reading archaeological materials, storytelling techniques for local history and recommended practices for leading guided visits in community exhibition spaces. The aim is to build a team of volunteers able to enhance and facilitate public access to local heritage.
Interested participants can attend the scheduled sessions or contact the numbers above for further information.
