For Milano Design Week 2026, the platform UNIQUE, founded by Bruno Gnocchi to promote emerging artists, teams up with the fashion label Massimo Alba to host a solo exhibition by Spanish painter Pau Aguiló (Palma, 2002). The project stages a dialogue between painting, textile surfaces and the identity of the showroom space.

Why visit: Aguiló's works weave imagination, memory and a sense of place: private landscapes and urban fragments overlap in canvases that probe the tension between interior and exterior. Within the showroom, paintings coexist with garments and varied materials, creating a setting that oscillates between domestic atelier and exhibition space.

About the artist

Pau Aguiló studied Fine Arts at Camberwell College of Arts in London. His pictorial language is characterised by layered colours and restrained gestures that evoke landscape and memory.
