Celebrate Easter Monday with an outdoor experience in the Vesuvius National Park. The eco-hike returns with guided walks through woodland, volcanic features and sweeping views over the Bay of Naples, suitable for most participants including families.
The hike follows the Alto Tirone Forest Reserve (Trail no. 4), one of Vesuvius's greenest tracks. The route is easy and suitable for children from about 8 years old.
The trail crosses the Piano delle Ginestre and alternates shaded woodland sections with panoramic openings offering views of the volcano's main cone and the Bay of Naples. Along the way you will see volcanic formations and pioneer species that illustrate natural recovery processes and the area's biodiversity.
The walk is organised by local associations focused on nature education and sustainable outdoor activities. Certified naturalist and hiking guides will lead the groups and provide insights into the area's flora, fauna and geology.
Note: places are limited—book early to secure your spot.
